| Uros Potocnik was born
in Slovenia and is a talented and versatile actor and multi-instrumentalist, being accomplished
on keyboards, guitar, bass guitar and double bass. |
He trained from 1991-1997 at the Slovenian
Academy for Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, graduating
with a diploma in acting. His numerous theatre credits include
Iago in Othello, Polonius in Hamlet,
the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz,
Pete in Saved, Diomedes in Troilus
and Cressida, Ben in The Dumb
Waiter (which he also directed) and Prist in Tea
for Two.
Uros has also composed several musical scores for the Frank
Theatre including Snow White,
Jam Session and Argentinian
Tango.

Uros toured Slovenia to great acclaim in a series
of plays which he co-produced, directed and performed in with
his friend and colleague Primoz
Ranik.
Feature films in which Uros Potocnik has appeared include Summer Idyll, Outsider, Five Days in May, Dark Angels of Destiny, Patriot, Head noise and The Bullet Missed The Fool.
Most recently Uros co-wrote the Slovenian film Norega Se Metek Ogne, in which he played Aleks Brams.
