SCHOOLS TOURS 2009, 2008 & 2007

BEST's Theatre in Education (TIE) policy is to assist Slovene students in their Matura exam study by bringing English-speaking drama directly to their schools.

Accordingly, in 2009, 2008 and 2007, we toured John Osborne's Look Back in Anger.

Performances were followed by an inter-active feedback session where students learnt more about the social and cultural background of this classic work. This exchange with native speakers also helped students develop their confidence in spoken English.

Each student received a programme containing information on the author and a play glossary to keep for reference.

'' Your professional production gave the play a British culture and style which we cannot get from non-native actors.
